Our vision is to bring a new lease on life for the aerospace and defense industry.\nWhat are we Hiring For?\nWe are hiring an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to join our Chatsworth, CA operation.\nWhat will you be doing?\nAssist internal and external customers with manufacturing engineering in a legacy aerospace environment. Strong and diverse technical skills are required in the areas of interpreting specifications, troubleshooting production and procurement issues, reverse engineering, understanding legacy production methods and technologies, qualification to MIL-810, RCA DO-160, and aerospace engineering contracting. Strong technical writing skills are necessary.\nFamiliarity with CAD and other mechanical design software\nCreative thinking and innovation\nAdvanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills\nGreat interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities\nEffective verbal and written communication\nCommercial awareness, including an understanding of target user and market.\nFamiliarity with Military and Commercial aircraft contracting and purchase orders.\n3+ years of experience\nSuccessful candidate will work hands-on as well as assisting suppliers with solving technical projects. May advise and train suppliers and production personnel with various programs that include power, actuation, mechanical systems and technically oriented material subjects, like metallurgy, hydraulics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
