Job description:Job Description Job Title: DevOps Release Manager / DevOps Release EngineerJob SummaryDevOps Release Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing software releases across environments. The role ensures smooth, timely, and high-quality delivery of applications by managing CI/CD pipelines, release schedules, and cross-functional collaboration.They act as the bridge between development, QA, and operations teams to deliver stable and efficient deployments with minimal risk.Key ResponsibilitiesRelease Planning & CoordinationPlan and manage end-to-end release lifecycle including build, test, and deploymentCoordinate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams for release readinessDefine release schedules, milestones, and dependencies across projectsCI/CD & AutomationDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deliveryEnsure continuous integration and continuous deployment practices are followedAutomate build, packaging, and deployment processes͏ Release ExecutionPerform and monitor deployments across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)Lead Go-Live activities and ensure successful production releasesValidate release readiness, deployment success, and rollback strategiesTechnical SkillsStrong experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)Knowledge of version control systems (Git, branching strategies) Experience in build & release management processesProcess & MethodologyStrong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Agile, and SDLCExperience in release governance and change managementKnowledge of incident, problem, and risk management frameworksMandatory Skills: Azure DevOps . Experience: 5-8 Years. The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 . Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
