The incumbent will oversee Inventory Management helping drive supply chain efficiencies bringing significant value to the organization.\n\nSupervision Received: Accounting Manager\n\nSupervision Exercised: Warehouse Staff\n\nEssential Job Functions:\n\nCoordinate and direct all aspects of managing physical inventory. These aspects include but may not be limited to; labeling, rotating, storing, issuing and delivering of products throughout Golden Mesa.\nEnsure accurate internal and external transfers accompany all products:\nDocumentation is complete and correct\nEnter inventory system in a timely manner\nMaintain correct and complete inventory count sheets for all areas and print count sheets for all areas prior to period end inventories.\nDirect all aspects prior to period-end inventories but does not participate in this process.\nWork in conjunction with Finance Department whenever necessary, to resolve issues that arise.\nRegularly communicate with management in regard to observations/opportunities as they relate to specifications, price and quality of all food and beverage products.\nRecommend operational enhancements to management that support initiatives and promote excellence.\nEstablish and maintain appropriate professional relationships with regulatory agencies, educational institutions, business leaders, community leaders, and others that may serve as strategic partners.\nDetermine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflows in area of responsibility.\nIssue written and oral instructions to subordinates.\nAssign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.\nStudy and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.\nMaintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.\nOversee as well as perform the function of receiving and processing purchase requisitions and changing requests from internal departments using the automated supply chain application when rush orders are needed and cannot be processed in time by commodity buyers.\nEnsure current Procurement processes are followed, by tracking purchase orders from inception to completion by monitoring applicable reports and taking appropriate action.\nAssist in the RFP (request for proposal) and/or RFQ (request for quote) processes for assigned facility project responsibilities under the supervision of the Accounting Manager.\nEvaluate spend data and make recommendations on products/services that can be more economically purchased on a contract basis.\nProvide technical advice and assist in the training and supervision of warehouse personnel\nPerform all other duties as assigned.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nEducation:\n\nBachelor's degree is preferred, however experience in food and beverage warehousing and procurement will be considered in lieu of the formal education requirement\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n\nMust be high energy, ambitious and customer service oriented\nMust possess strong leadership skills\nMust be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel\nMust possess strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office products\nAbility to create and maintain documents created in MS Word and MS Excel\nAbility to organize and save documents on an ongoing basis, for retrieval when necessary\nStrong written and oral communication skills required\nAbility to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form\nAbility to assume a role of authority as necessary set an example for coworkers\nAbility to delegate responsibility and empower employees to make decisions; provide constructive feedback to others\nAbility to exhibit can-do approach and inspire employees to excel; use competition to encourage others to develop performance standards and confront negative attitudes; develop team spirit\nKnowledge of supply chain methods and techniques, including contract negotiations\nStrong knowledge of automated procurement and warehouse applications\nConsiderable knowledge of technical and financial analysis techniques\nDemonstrated skills in project management; ability to organize a project into key components and manage progression of the project independently according to an aggressive timeline\nAbility to convince others in both positive and negative circumstances; use tact when expressing ideas or opinion’s; present new ideas to authority figure; adapt presentations to suit a particular audience; respond to objections successfully.\nMust be able to work in fast paced, smoke filled casino environment\n\nTraining and Experience:\n\nShould have successful experience in the gaming industry or have comparable and transferable experience in hospitality or other industries\nMust have a minimum of 2-3 years related managerial experience or training.\nExperience in utilization of purchasing and inventory control software.\nExperience in balancing physical inventory to revenue in concession stands and bars.\n\nLicenses/Certifications/Other:\nMust be able to complete pre-employment drug test with a negative result\nMust be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nStrength:\nSedentary to Medium workload. Stand, sit and walk consistently. Will be required to lift to or over 40lbs or exert occasionally over 100lbs.\nMovement:\nWill consistently be required to touch, feel, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, reach.
