Direct Support Professional / CMT
MedSource Community Services, Inc. is a DDA Provider of Residential Services. We are currently accepting resumes for DSPs to work in our Prince George's homes. Requirements:
Possess a valid driver’s license
Availability to work 7 days consecutively from Wednesday to Wednesday (live-in type situation one week on, one week off)
Must be comfortable with computers and your cell phone as software interaction is required
Must be willing to drive medical transport vans
Preferred:
Accredited Bachelor’s degree or 5 years related work experience
Associate’s degree w/ related work experience
First aid/CPR and CMT
Responsibilities Include:
Administer medication and monitor individual’s physical health, as outlined in the Medication Administration Training program
Responsible for personal care of the individuals served
Maintain the individual’s home in a clean, safe, and home-like environment as stated in DDA Regulations
Schedule health visits with health care providers, as outlined in the IP, and as individual needs arise
Responsible for maintaining individual and house budgets
Provide community integration/leisure activities in accordance with the individual’s IP
Facilitate the development and monitoring for personal relationships
