Oversee provision of professional child welfare training and related workforce development and organizational development services for 28 California counties, including social worker training, child welfare leadership training, coaching, consultation, technical assistance, conferences and special events. Supervise staff charged with scheduling all training and program logistics; manage Academy processes and technical systems related to deliverables; and ensure deliverables are met per contract requirements with outstanding customer service. Cultivate relationships with staff, funding agency representatives, county contacts, instructors and advisory committee members to ensure successful continuing training opportunities. Oversee development and maintenance of project management systems; manage training delivery and scheduling plans; and ensure all contract deliverables are met. This position is in the Northern Academy unit and has primary responsibility for the training delivery of this visible and vital program, which is part of California’s Regional Training Academy system for child welfare services.
