acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks; works on assignments that are routine in nature where limited judgement is required.Duties and Responsbilities:Technical - Performs calibrations in one or more of the following skill areas, as applicable:bio-med instrumentationelectronic standardsfiber opticsLCR and impedancenuclear and radiation physicsoscilloscopesparticle countersphoto/radiometric optometryRADARRF/microwave power, frequency, and impedancesound pressure levelspectrophotometry (including standards)spectrum and network analysis, time interval and frequencyvibrationvideovoltage & currentwaveform analysis, phase and distortion.Communication and Interaction - Communicates conversationally and in writing with coherent sentence structure to all employees; regularly interacts with other technicians and sometimes with CSRs and Purchasing; interaction normally involves exchange of factual information.Leadership - Acts on important opportunities as they arise, sometimes with assistance; willing to act with a minimum of planning; learning to translate ideas into actions; does not hesitate to pursue a sound, innovative idea; works quickly; enthusiastic about assignments; willing to learn;
