Deloitte's Infrastructure & Real Estate practice helps organizations create value across the corporate real estate lifestyle - enhancing strategies for real estate footprints, workplace, and the corporate real estate function and combining them with the latest real estate, location and workplace analytics technologies.Work You'll DoAs a Senior Manager you will:Develop real estate portfolio optimization strategiesLead the real estate and facilities related workstreams on large M&A and enterprise cost reduction / margin improvement programsConduct real estate due diligence on M&A engagements, including baselining costs, identifying potential synergies, and documenting risks and complexities of the M&A deal related to the real estate footprintDevelop real estate and facilities strategies related to M&A and cost reduction / margin improvement programs, including developing Day 1 readiness checklists, synergy and value capture strategies, and 'Day 1 / Day 2' functional charters and initiative blueprintsDesign Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Facilities Management (FM), or workplace operating models, organizational structures, and service delivery modelsDeliver CRE and FM outsourcing / insourcing consulting services, including strategy development, contract evaluation, and RFI / RFP process managementEnhance CRE, FM, or workplace business processes and workflows across the corporate real estate life cycle (portfolio management, transaction management, design & construction, space & move management, facilities / amenities management, etc.)Design and implement workplace strategies, digital workplace technology / smart building / IoT strategies, and workforce mobility / "work from anywhere" programsDeliver CRE, FM, or workplace technology platform advisory services, including strategy development, requirements development, vendor / solution evaluation, and implementation supportLead engagement planning, day-to-day management of engagement teams and day-to-day interactions with clientsDefine deliverable structure and content, and direct on-time, quality delivery of work products;Support the development of "thought ware" and "point-of-view" documents and participate in public speaking eventsPerform role of counselor and coach, and provide input and guidance into staffing, recruitment and retention activitiesIdentify potential engagement opportunities; develop proposals for Deloitte's consultative services and participate in sales presentations / pitch activitiesRecruiting for this role ends 05/08/26.The TeamOur Infrastructure and Real Estate team are trusted advisors to clients in managing the real estate portfolio and physical asset fleets throughout their lifecycle. We help them unlock value from their real estate portfolios and functions by developing strategies, optimizing operating models and organizational design, and leveraging technology enablement.Qualifications required:Minimum of a bachelor's degree, MBA preferred12+ years' consulting experience, with 5+ years in supporting M&A engagementsMust have professional services backgroundMust have experience within multiple relevant domains, including: Corporate real estate M&A, real estate portfolio strategy, real estate cost reduction programsManagement consulting and/or industry experience across corporate real estate and facilities management is requiredUnderstanding of key corporate real estate industry trendsBusiness development / sales experienceAbility to interact at all levels of the client organizationStrong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint)Strong financial, data and analytical skills (Microsoft Excel, SQL) including business case development experienceA proven track record of successfully delivering professional servicesAbility to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited sponsorship may be availablePreferred:MBA or other advanced degree (Master's or PhD) with a focus on real estate, workplace, engineering, or architectureAbility to work independently and manage multiple task assignmentsAbility to work across multiple M&A engagements in parallelStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.Eagerness to mentor and counsel junior staffLanguage fluency (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin)Familiarity with real estate related information technologies and platforms: such as Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems, Smart Building / Digital Workplace ecosystemsExperience with analytics to evaluate and optimize business processesThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $158,900 - $292,900.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various fac tors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
