The individual will maintain a safe and secure environment for company personnel, assets, and property by patrolling and monitoring residential and corporate locations, and by enforcing access control and security protocols as directed. This role requires high personal integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to respond decisively under pressure. Ability to work nights, weekends, Holidays and Overtime as needed.\nKey Roles / Responsibilities:\nProtect company personnel, property, and assets by maintaining a visible security presence and deterring unauthorized activity.\nEnforce access control procedures at all entry and exit points; verify credentials and authorize entry of personnel and visitors.\nMonitor and document arrival and departure of all contractors, employees, and visitors.\nOperate and monitor security surveillance, alarm, and phone systems.\nConduct periodic foot and vehicle patrols of premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of controlled access points.\nInspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational readiness and detect evidence of tampering.\nIdentify, investigate, and resolve security breaches.\nRespond to security threats and emergencies; contact 911 for police, fire, or EMS response as appropriate.\nWrite clear, accurate reports regarding security incidents or suspicious activities.\nScreen incoming mail and packages, sign for items as required, and sort for distribution.\nStaff special events at various company locations as directed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nTravel as needed.\nRequired Education, Experience, and Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nValid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record.\nPossess, or be able to obtain, a Level II, III, and IV Security Commission from the TX DPS Private Security Bureau.\nHonorably discharged from U.S. Armed Services, if applicable.\nAbility to read, write, and speak English fluently.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to detect potential threats.\nCapable of communicating effectively with management, staff, contractors, and vendors.\nAbility to use sophisticated computer software programs to perform job functions.\nStrong physical and mental fitness to maintain a demanding workload; quarterly physical fitness testing required.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, and as a member of a team.\nAbility to work under stressful conditions and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.\nRecognizes confidential information and maintains it in accordance with company procedures.\nPossesses a strong work ethic, integrity, and honesty.\nDependable and reliable in fulfilling all assigned responsibilities.\nAbility to travel as needed.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nLevel IV Security Certification with TX DPS.\nValid U.S. Passport.\nWorking Conditions:\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.\nAbility to maintain single task focus and situational awareness.\nMust demonstrate manual dexterity and be able to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.\nReact quickly using hands, fingers, or feet.\nBending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, sitting stand, walk, kneel, stoop, squat, pull, push, climb, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and see and standing (occasionally) for long periods of time.\nThe essential duties of this position require moderate to heavy lifting and carrying.\nExposure to moderate noise levels, vibrations, and bright lights; and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases; and all climate types including hot and cold temperatures, humidity, rain, snow, etc.\nMust be able to lift 20 pounds constantly.
