This individual has significant experience in warehouse operations, technical skills (equipment operation, counting, space utilization, handling efficiency), in-depth knowledge of ISI’s inventory management systems and software (Agile, SAP, WMS, PPG), and strong interpersonal and communication skills. This person would work closely with fellow team members, common stakeholders such as, engineers, cross cross-functional managers, and the supervisor to achieve team performance goals in the areas of safety, quality, and performance. Goals are set in each of these areas for each quarter, and overall team performance is measured against them.\nLeadership is about creating an environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and creativity. A leader should create a culture where employees feel motivated and engaged and where their ideas and opinions are valued. They are also responsible for motivating the team and ensuring everyone works together to achieve the same goals.\nReceiving: Receiving materials, physically and systemically, to be used in production operations and engineering projects.\nParts Put-away: Physically and systemically move approved production materials from IQC staging areas into SMKT storage locations. (Totes and Bulk)\nSupermarket (SMKT)\nParts Replenishment: Point-of-use parts replenishment for designated production lines, monitoring pull/push signals from external and internal warehouses.\nMT: Fulfilling and transacting MT requests, received either electronically or via hard copy.\nSales Order Fulfillment: Fulfilling and transacting Sales Orders and Service Transfer Orders.\nPackout: Shipping Responsibilities to Sterigenics and internal-plant transfers.\nPacking System carts, FRUs and kits. Responsibilities\nMonitor team-member performance (safety, quality, performance, attendance) and escalate issues to management as needed.\nTraining: Cross-train or mentor others in areas of expertise (as needed). Must learn and comply with training guidelines and act as a Deputized trainer for the staff. Participate in training meetings and provide training plans for employees to ensure job rotations.\nReports: Create and distribute daily warehouse reports that include performance to plan, quality issues, and equipment issues. Provide detailed end-of-day reports not covering only direct areas but also an oversight/engagement with other buildings.\nEstablish goals for each functional area and coordinate job rotations to enhance the efficiency and productivity of material handlers.\nPrepare and present weekly warehouse data during weekly warehouse management walk-throughs. Present established KPIs and affectively identify additional KPIs.\nSupport various Lean Manufacturing initiatives that involve a warehouse-based team.\nReview and disposition discrepant material. Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences.\nReview existing operational and process discrepancies in the warehouses and provide technical expertise to improve procedures. Identify non-active, slow-moving parts, communicate with planning teams for product disposition, and establish effective material rotations and turns.\nFollow all corporate, regulatory, established DOP, WIs, safety, and production policies and procedures and maintain an accident- and CAPA-free environment.\nMaintain an excellent attendance record.\n\nQualifications\n\nSkills, Experience, Education, & Training:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n5 years of Material Handling experience or a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing warehouse/assembly ISI experience.\nProficient in Agile and/or SAP, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint.\nProficient in training/mentoring other Material Handlers\nInventory control experience (cycle counting, physical inventories) preferred.\nProficient at quality record documentation\nMust be able to work independently and make decisions quickly and decisively.\nAbility to lift material up to 50 lbs.\nExperience and/or certification in operating material-handling equipment preferred.\nExtensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting, climbing ladders) is required.\nDemonstrates leadership and communication ability.\nDemonstrates understanding of basic operational principles of assemblies upon which training has been completed.\nDemonstrates ability to diagnose possible root cause failure modes of warehouse transactions\n\nAdditional Information\n\nDue to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
