Certified WelderJob Type: Contract-to-HirePay: Based on ExperienceJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced welder to support the launch of a new welding department within our manufacturing operation. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a dependable candidate with stable work history, solid manufacturing experience, and required certifications in D32028-1, D32028-2, and D32028-3 weld specifications.The ideal candidate will have experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments and be able to complete fitting and welding requirements accurately while maintaining high quality standards throughout the fabrication process.ResponsibilitiesPerform welding operations according to D32028-1, D32028-2, and D32028-3 weld specificationsComplete fitting and welding details per engineering and production requirementsEnsure all salmon-colored surfaces receive required 1/4" machine stock additionRead and interpret blueprints, weld specifications, and production documentationInspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance standards are metComplete and maintain required CWI reports and welding documentationSupport setup and development of new welding department operationsMaintain safe and organized work areas while following company safety proceduresCollaborate with production and quality teams to ensure production goals are achievedQualificationsD32028-1, D32028-2, and D32028-3 welding certifications REQUIREDPrevious welding experience in manufacturing or industrial environments requiredAbility to read blueprints and fabrication drawingsExperience completing fitting, fabrication, and weld prep workKnowledge of welding quality standards and inspection processesStable work history and reliable attendance requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamLinked, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
