This position offers meaningful exposure to internal and external stakeholders and the opportunity to influence decisions that help define the next generation of energy infrastructure within ISO/RTO and regulated utility markets\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nLead the development of utility-scale energy infrastructure projects across regional power markets, guiding projects from early-stage feasibility through construction readiness\nDrive key workstreams including land acquisition, permitting, environmental review, interconnection, and commercial structuring\nManage regulatory processes, agency coordination, application submissions, and public hearings\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with landowners, communities, utilities, public officials, and regulatory agencies\nAssess project risks and opportunities to support investment decisions and value creation\nSupport power marketing, energy offtake, project financing, and M&A activities, including investment committee materials\nMonitor market, regulatory, and policy developments and represent ENGIE at industry events and stakeholder forums\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Energy, Planning, or a related field\nMinimum five (5) years of experience supporting the development of utility-scale renewable energy, energy storage, transmission, infrastructure, or other large-scale capital projects\nExperience advancing projects through key development milestones, including permitting, interconnection, regulatory review, stakeholder engagement, and construction readiness\nExperience working within CAISO or other ISO/RTO markets, with familiarity navigating market structures, regulatory requirements, interconnection processes, and stakeholder engagement\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while identifying risks, solving complex challenges, and driving projects forward\nStrong relationship-building skills with landowners, community stakeholders, utilities, regulatory agencies, public officials, consultants, and cross-functional teams\nUnderstanding of project economics, commercial considerations, and investment decision-making, including the evaluation of project risks and opportunities\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and influence outcomes across technical, commercial, and executive audiences\n\nCompensation\n\nSalary Range will be included in the formal job posting once a specific level of opportunity is determined and posted.\n\nAt ENGIE, we take your well-being seriously.
