Qualified candidates will be considered for a Program Management position, also acting as team lead and primary customer contact for projects.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nWorking closely with clients, outside design consultants and internal engineers during conceptual and final design to develop and/or procure electrical design plans, specifications and narratives\nCompleting both conceptual and detailed take-offs of electrical (service entrance, power, low voltage systems, etc.) scopes to be incorporated into the overall project budget or Guaranteed Maximum Price\nAssist management with the identification, prequalification and bidding of electrical scopes of work, as needed · Ensuring appropriate construction materials are incorporated into designs and conducting thorough review of consultant designs and subcontractor/vendor shop drawings to ensure design intent is met\nProviding technical advice to other members on the D/B team\nAssisting project management staff in obtaining local planning and/or regulatory approval for electrical scopes\nMonitoring and inspecting work undertaken by subcontractors and/or our own trades\nQualifications\nDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree/experience\n5+ years of work experience in electrical design\nExperience in the design and construction of industrial, food manufacturing and/or cold box\n(refrigerated) facilities\nPrefer a Professional Engineer license in Indiana or Idaho\nAdvanced knowledge of construction methods, materials and codes\nAbility to assemble bid set (RFP) drawing packages\nAbility to liaise with third-party electrical design professionals, as required\nAbility to liaise with professionals from other disciplines\nExperience with subcontractor management\nExperience in project management\nGood communication skills and ability to communicate with customers on remote sites (infrequent travel required)\nNotice to prospective employees: There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
