The role is focused on ensuring high availability, performance, and security of Windows Server environments and network services. You will troubleshoot complex network issues, manage routing and DNS, and deploy and maintain firewalls and switches to support business operations and cybersecurity objectives.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure including switches, routers, and wireless components.\nAdminister and maintain Windows Server environments and related network services (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory integration).\nConfigure and manage routing protocols and TCP/IP networking to ensure reliable connectivity and optimized performance.\nImplement, manage, and monitor firewalls and security controls to protect the network from threats and maintain compliance.\nTroubleshoot and resolve network incidents and performance issues; perform root cause analysis and preventative remediation.\nCollaborate with IT teams to support virtualization platforms, system integrations, and service deployments.\nDevelop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.\nParticipate in on-call rotation and provide timely response to critical network events and outages.\nEvaluate and recommend network and security technologies, tools, and best practices to improve infrastructure resilience.\nQualifications\nBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience in network engineering or systems/network administration roles.\nStrong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, routing protocols (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP preferred), and network troubleshooting techniques.\nHands-on experience with Windows Server administration and network service integration.\nProven experience configuring and managing firewalls and switches in enterprise environments.\nSolid understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience implementing security controls in network architectures.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.\nCertifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or equivalent are a plus.\nNice to have: hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama, and working knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies.\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
