Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Be familiar with various types of electronics; such as: computers, printers, monitors, cables, and stereo equipment.Knowledgeable of repairable, re-sellable or scrap donated electronics to sort, stack, price, and repair.Moving, stacking and checking pallets of materials around the facility.Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot and evaluate computers and other network equipment.Maintaining inventory stock. Clean shelves, counters, and tables.Perform other duties as assigned.CompetenciesAbility to work independently and efficiently to manage workflow through the department.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma and two years' experience desired in computer hardware and troubleshooting.Language SkillsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, consumers, customers, and the general public.Computer SkillsExtensive knowledge and skills in computer hardware, Windows OS, Linux, Mac, troubleshooting, and Microsoft Office Suite.Other Skills and AbilitiesBilingual skills a plus.Other QualificationsMust be focused and work well without close supervision, strong attention to detail, and the ability to connect with a wide variety of customers.Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
