Electrical Engineer As an Electrical Engineer, you will support the design and development of power electronics and embedded electronic systems for vehicle and equipment applications. This role focuses on circuit design, analysis, validation, and production support within a collaborative engineering environment. Job Responsibilities: Develop and analyze technical requirements to define electronic design solutionsDesign and implement microprocessor-based embedded electronic hardwareAdapt electronic circuitry for vehicle-based and fixed equipment applicationsPerform worst-case analysis, simulation, integration, and verification of analog and digital circuitsCreate and execute test and analysis plans for product verification and validationDocument design solutions, analyses, and test resultsProvide on-site technical support to manufacturing, quality, and supply management teams Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program3-5 years of experience in electronic circuit design and embedded hardware developmentWorking knowledge of microprocessor-based electronic systems and mechanical packaging requirementsExperience supporting testing, manufacturing, and quality activitiesAbility to perform complex engineering analysis and make sound design decisions related to circuit architecture and component selectionPreferred Qualifications:Advanced degree with a focus on power electronicsExperience designing inverters and DC/DC converters for low- and high-voltage systemsExperience with isolated and non-isolated power architecturesExperience with battery management system electronicsExperience supporting product development from concept through productionBackground designing electronics for harsh or rugged environmentsFamiliarity with hybrid or electric vehicle systemsExperience with circuit simulation tools, MathCAD, and schematic capture toolsExperience with microcontroller- and FPGA-based designsAbility to lead or coordinate electronic design efforts within a project team Pay Range: $80,000-$120,000 - Commensurate with experience About RFA Engineering RFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943. Our primary focus is the development of off highway equipment including agricultural, construction, mining, recreational, industrial, and special machines. Our work includes concept development, product design, documentation, problem-solving, simulation, optimization, and testing of components, systems and complete machines.
