We support the Space Force's acquisition of state-of-the-art satellite communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation's warfighters. We seek technical individuals who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex space and ground communications systems.\r\nQualifications Required Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, business, or a related discipline\r\n10+ years of experience in product ownership, technical product management, or program/project management delivering software or AI-driven solutions\r\nProven ability to define product vision, roadmap, and detailed use cases aligned to business and mission objectives\r\nStrong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), including leading sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and sprint reviews\r\nHands-on experience managing backlogs, epics, and user stories using Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence\r\nDemonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts (AI/ML, APIs, cloud systems) into clear, actionable product requirements\r\nExperience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating dependencies across engineering, data, and business stakeholders\r\nStrong stakeholder management skills, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and executive-level communication and reporting\r\nSolid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from ideation through deployment and sustainment\r\nExperience tracking delivery progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery of product milestones\r\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and modern application architectures, including APIs and containerized environments\r\nProven ability to define success metrics, support testing/validation, and oversee release planning and quality assurance\r\nABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION FOR WHICH, YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN\r\nQualifications Desired Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, business, or a related discipline\r\nExperience working on AI/ML or generative AI products, including exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG-based solutions\r\nFamiliarity with integrating AI solutions into enterprise systems, data platforms, and APIs\r\nExperience in defense, government, or other high security/regulatory environments\r\nAgile certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager\r\nStrong facilitation skills for backlog grooming, prioritization workshops, and stakeholder reviews\r\nExposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment environments\r\nRequired Certifications: N/A\r\nU.S. Citizenship Required: Yes\r\nSecurity Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain Secret\r\nEmployment Type: Regular full-time\r\nBackground Check Type: 7 year pre-employment\r\nDrug Screen Required: No\r\nPosition Contingent Upon Contract Award: No\r\nSalary Range $152,000 — $191,000 USD\r\nREAL ID Requirement This position may require the ability to access to U.S. federal facilities.
