Security is an exciting and ever‑changing feature within Datacenter SOCs.\n\nAs a key contributor to the success of AMD’s product, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry‑leading technologies to market.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nDevelop and execute feature enablement and validation test plans for SoC‑ and system‑level SoC features across all AMD Server products in Virtualization and Security features.\n\nDevelop test content for both focus testing as well as system level stress testing of OS Virtualization plus cross product stress testing.\n\nExpose and debug functional issues during enablement and cross‑product validation.\n\nDevelop post‑silicon validation infrastructure (software, hardware, automation environment, and lab setup).\n\nEnhance post‑silicon validation infrastructure such as automation environment, validation configuration checking, automated test log analysis, etc.\n\nCollaborate with partner organizations to provide root cause analysis for platform level, SoC logical, performance and BIOS/firmware issues.\n\nCollaborate with cross‑functional teams in developing tools to improve SoC validation and debug.\n\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:\n\nStrong programming skills and scripting language expertise (C/C++, Python).\n\nHands‑on post‑silicon lab experience working with platforms, server Operating Systems, and virtualized environments.\n\nExperience with x86 microprocessor architecture and with server SOC platform architecture including firmware, IO, and DDR.\n\nExperience developing validation methodologies, test content, and infrastructure.\n\nCreation of positive and negative test cases that not only confirm correct functionality but also attempt to break the design.\n\nSilicon debug skills at both SoC and system level.\n\nWorking knowledge of Server OSes (Linux, Windows Server).\n\nProficiency working with common lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.\n\nTeam player with excellent communication skills, able to work autonomously, multitask, and set priorities.\n\nStrong networking and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to drive effective decision‑making across various functions and levels within the organization.\n\nExcellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines.\n\nKnowledge of pre‑silicon environments (Verification, Emulation, Virtual Bring‑Up) is a plus.\n\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:\n\nExpertise in datacenter Security features such as encryption, secure boot, root of trust, key management, confidential compute, and attestation.\n\nSecurity architecture and threat modeling.\n\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\n\nBSEE/CSE/CS with 5+ years of experience or\n\nMSEE/CSE/CS with 7+ years of experience.\n\nLOCATION:\nAustin, TX\n\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\n\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee‑based recruitment services.
