It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges.\n\nExpected:\n\nHND / Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline\n\nApplication of Wood and client health and safety standards within the working environment and design process\n\nAbility to maintain safe working practices through all stages of a project with a focus on the assessment and mitigation of safety issues through design\n\nWorking in/leading multi-discipline teams delivering work packages in accordance with the requirements of quality and environmental management systems qualified to ISO standards\n\nBe able to manage work scope and interfaces between all engineering disciplines to ensure the successful delivery of assigned work packages\n\nAbility to review vendor documents and identify any problem areas\n\nCommercially astute and aware of the importance of Change control as well as evidence of experience of the management of change\n\nCompletely familiar with project contractual and commercial requirements\n\nActive management of plant changes in a controlled and safe way\n\nUnderstanding of what GxP and ALCOA are\n\nMonitoring and reviewing engineering progress with Project Services and Engineering disciplines\n\nAbility to be a focal point for assigned projects, managing issues that require expediting or resolution\n\nExperience organising, attending, and preparing reports\n\nCDM experience and knowledge\n\nGood communicator verbally and in written form\n\nStrong planning, organising and execution skills\n\nWork in coordination with Engineering, construction, HSE, procurement, subcontracting & project control\n\nCollate actions and expedite the closure of the outstanding actions with appropriate disciplines\n\nRelevant proven experience in Project Engineering within engineering, procurement and construction projects for the Pharmaceutical, Speciality Chemicals, Life Sciences, Petrochemical, Process and Energy or Oil and Gas industries\n\nExperience in engineering delivery design/operation of Manufacturing Equipment, Chillers, HVAC, Granulation, Medical Devices, Packaging etc.\n\nIntegration of design schedule to procurement and/or fabrication schedules\n\nPreparing and checking the scope of work specifications, project procedures and project reports\n\nAbility to take on tasks delegated by Project Manager or Engineering Manager\n\nAbility to produce detailed execution plans\n\nPreparing project budgets, controlling costs during delivery and providing detail forecasts for presentation to internal and external stakeholders\n\nForecast manning level to support the contract portfolio\n\nPrepare procurement strategies and continual engagement with suppliers and sub-contractors\n\nAssisting with responses to site queries from the ‘business as usual’ team\n\nAble to engage with multiple engineering disciplines\n\nDemonstrable delivery experience through full project and validation life cycle; URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ and handover to production.\n\nExperience of leading multi-discipline teams.\n\nAble to adapt to changing priorities\n\n“Please note that all employment is subject to completion of mandatory pre-employment screening checks relevant to this role”\n\nAbout Us\nWood is a global leader in consulting, engineering and operations for the energy and materials sectors.
