This is an entry-level manufacturing role and no prior experience or specialized skills are required. Training will be provided.\n\nThe ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, willing to learn new processes, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assisting with wire preparation activities to support production operations and ensure quality standards are met.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nThe following is a framework of the essential duties and responsibilities for this role. Duties and responsibilities may change according to business need and other duties may be assigned.\n\nOperate and program wire processing equipment, including Schleuniger machines\n\nLoad and set up wire materials in equipment to measure, cut and strip wire\n\nCollect and organize cut wire materials\n\nVerify wire lengths and accuracy according to work instructions\n\nRemove insulation from designated wire ends\n\nApply identification number flags using Brady labeling equipment\n\nTwist wires together into twisted pairs as needed\n\nInstall wires into Tygon tubing as needed\n\nPlace completed wire preparations into designated job totes\n\nTransact M1 operations\n\nFollow all company quality standards, safety procedures, and production requirements\n\nMaintain a clean and organized work area\n\nCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members\n\nMust be able to work a consistent schedule\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\nNo previous manufacturing experience required\n\nWillingness to learn and follow instructions\n\nAbility to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail\n\nBasic communication and teamwork skills\n\nReliable attendance and punctuality\n\nAbility to work independently after training\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\n\nCOMPUTER SKILLS : Ability to comfortably use computer software in Windows environment. Basic understanding of software, word-processing, spreadsheet, and related office applications.\n\nGENERAL : Self-starter, able to work independently, able to work under pressure, comfortable with interacting with multiple levels of organization, able to work cross-functionally within organization to accomplish objectives, results oriented.\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
