Geriatric Nurse Practitioner- Port Jervis, NY Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Geriatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care to residents in assisted living communities. This position offers meaningful patient relationships, clinical autonomy, and a schedule designed to prevent burnout. No nights. No weekends. No burnout. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and examinations Perform medication reviews and manage chronic and acute conditions Order and interpret labs and diagnostic testing Prescribe medications within NP scope of practice Educate residents and families on health maintenance and independence Maintain accurate documentation using eClinicalWorks Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license DEA registration Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid billing Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (geriatric or long-term care preferred) Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach For more information, contact: |
