Esse Health is currently seeking a full-time Operations Support Specialist!OpportunityThe Operations Support Specialist provides support for all employees by delivering training on processes, systems, and population health workflows. This role collaborates with office staff and physicians to implement workflow improvements and changes to optimize population health management.Full-time schedule. Monday - Friday, regular business hours. No nights, weekends or holidays.Eligible for the Esse Health full-time benefits package. Reports to an Operations Manager.Travel to all Esse Health locations (greater St. Louis area, Shiloh, IL and Swansea, IL) will be required.Hybrid work environment for a local candidate. Day-to-DayPresent and provide in-person training in a classroom setting to employees and providers at the Esse Health Central Office/HUB (located in Town & Country) using prescribed agendasConduct regular site visits, observe workflows, and introduce features to ease workflowMonitor usage of EMR and EPM systems at assigned locations and recommend system utilization improvementsProvide advanced end-user support, troubleshoot system malfunctions, and make appropriate system parameter changesDevelop training materials and documentationPartner with physician offices to enhance workflows using Lean Six Sigma principlesUse process and outcome data to facilitate performance improvement discussionsDesign and document process or system setup changes for assigned projectsReview issue logs to identify and analyze system problem trendsAssist with template modifications and additions to EMRSupport communication and specialized business requests from departmentsTest system upgrades and report issues as neededProvide onsite support to new physicians, mid-level providers, and office managersReport office-level findings to the Operations ManagerSupport all ancillary products that interface/interact with EMR and EPM systemsWhat You PossessB.S. in Health Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field (preferred).Minimum of three years’ experience with application training and support.Experience with Electronic Practice Management and Electronic Health Record systems.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.Understanding of medical office practices.What We OfferCompetitive compensation.
