You will be responsible for the following:\n\nPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nInstall and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.\nMaintain and perform preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.\nProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.\nDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.\nPerform a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and carpentry functions.\nPerforms mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electronics, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.\nRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.\nComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.\nMust have strong organizational skills to accurately complete and file required reports and documents and excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.\nUnderstand federal, state and local codes and regulations.\nAbility to perform work independently.\nMechatronics and/or electronics background is necessary.\n\n POSITION REQUIREMENTS:\n\nA minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.\nThree (3) + years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical/electronic and industrial skills with some HVAC\nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Hour Certification preferred.\nAble to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling/ mobile equipment in performing duties.\nComputer skills preferably with Microsoft Office Suites, Outlook and RFID scanning equipment.\nAbility to take initiative to identify potential problems and solutions.\nMust have a high level of motivation and attention to detail.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n\nThe physical requirements for this job directly reflect the essential functions necessary to be successful in this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing and sitting throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
