In this role, you'll design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable data pipelines that support our mission of delivering high-quality analytics and actionable insights across the organisation. You'll work across cloud and on-premises environments, build robust integrations, and contribute to our DataOps capability. Identifying opportunities to innovate and optimise, your work will be instrumental in establishing and evolving our modern data platform, including building a Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) architecture on Delta Lake.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nIngest and integrate data from a range of source systems. (eg Salesforce, Dayforce, Business Central, REST APIs)\r\nDesign and build secure, consistent, and best-practice data pipelines for orchestration, ingestion, and transformation.\r\nApply industry-standard modelling techniques to create trusted datasets.\r\nDevelop and maintain APIs and integrations across MSWA.\r\nBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automations to support a DataOps capability.\r\nMonitor and optimise data pipelines for performance and cost.Create and maintain high-quality documentation for requirements, design, and implementation.\r\nMust Haves\r\nUndergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.\r\nHands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or Databricks.\r\nProven experience building Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) on Delta Lake.\r\nStrong experience developing ELT pipelines using Python (PySpark) and Spark SQL.\r\nAdvanced SQL skills, including performance tuning and query optimisation.\r\nExperience working with Lakehouse architectures and modern data platforms.Demonstrated experience with data pipeline orchestration, ingestion, and transformation.\r\nStrong understanding of data modelling techniques (e.g. star schema, dimensional modelling).\r\nExperience integrating data via APIs and multiple source systems.\r\nExperience working with tools such as SSMS, VS Code and Notebooks.\r\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work across complex data environments.\r\nNice to Haves\r\nFamiliarity with Azure services such as Logic Apps and Azure Function Apps.\r\nExperience with Power BI and building semantic/reporting layers.\r\nExperience implementing CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub).\r\nExperience working in hybrid environments (cloud and on-premises).\r\nKnowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.\r\nWhat's on Offer\r\nPermanent Full-time role – 75 hours per fortnight.\r\nPrimary location: Belmont Office MSWA.\r\nGenerous salary packaging, retail discounts and more.\r\nOngoing training, development, and growth opportunities.\r\nSupportive and passionate team culture that works together to deliver high-quality services.\r\nFlexible Working Options – 9 days fortnights for full-time workers, Flexible working arrangements across MSWA locations or potentially Working from Home options.\r\nDo you believe in life without limits?
