Discover more at https://www.connectpositronic.com/en/\n\nSummary\nAssembles electronic components, subassemblies, or systems by following work orders and production drawings, ensuring quality, precision, and compliance with safety standards.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nRead work orders and follow production drawings or instructions\nAssemble and secure parts using hand tools and fixtures\nPerform intermediate tasks such as potting, sanding, or color coding\nInspect parts using basic testing methods\nHandle and install finished assemblies into enclosures\nUphold Positronic’s standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.\nIdentify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.\nCollaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.\nWork with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.\nComply with all company policies and procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nEducation and Experience\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n1 to 3 months of experience or training OR\nAn equivalent combination of education and experience\nMust pass appropriate testing to advance in the ABC program\nPhysical\n\nFrequent sitting, walking, and standing\nOccasional bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching\nConstant lifting of 0–20 lbs; occasional up to 40 lbs; rare up to 50 lbs\nHigh level of hand and finger dexterity\nConstant use of hands and arms for technical work\nPPE includes safety glasses, nitrile and heat-resistant gloves as needed\nWorking Conditions: Work is performed in production zone with frequent exposure to loud machines and nitrogen-based chemicals.\nShift: Second shift (Tuesday-Friday 3:45pm-2:15am)\nKnowledge\n\nKnowledge of English language rules, spelling, and grammar for reading instructions\nUnderstanding of machines and tools used in basic assembly\nFamiliarity with production processes and quality standards\nSkills\n\nActive listening and communication to follow detailed instructions\nAttention to detail for consistent quality during repetitive tasks\nTime management to stay on pace with production flow\nProficient in using hand tools and positioning small parts\nAble to read and comprehend work orders and technical documents\nAbilities\n\nExcellent hand-eye coordination and finger dexterity\nColor vision and near-sight acuity for sorting accuracy\nAbility to maintain focus during repetitive inspection tasks\nStrong problem sensitivity and quick judgment\nPOSITRONIC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY, INTERPRET, OR APPLY THIS JOB DESCRIPTION IN ANY WAY THE COMPANY DESIRES.
