8443 - Community Health Nurse II (Health & Human Services)

JOB Jackson County Employment Opportunity.This is a full-time position for a Maternal Child Health Nurse to provide home visiting care in the community. The RN in this position will implement the Nurse Family Partnership program, an evidence-based program serving pregnant people and their infants up to age two. This role is perfect for a nurse with a passion for maternal-child health and who has strong interpersonal and case-management skills. This RN will build and maintain a client caseload who they will support in goal-setting, life-course progression, pregnancy and child development education, and skill building. Therapeutic communication and empathic listening are keys to success in this role as well as comfort with home visiting and working with families from diverse backgrounds. Jackson County is simultaneously recruiting for two similar positions at the time.
