Billing Manager
Job Summary: The Billing Manager will be responsible for managing the firm’s billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in client billing. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of billing practices within a legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the entire billing process, including client billing, e-billing, and collections.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of invoices.
Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Supervise and mentor billing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Collaborate with attorneys and other staff to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
Monitor and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present billing reports to senior management.
Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to billing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in client billing or e-billing, preferably within a law firm.
Proven management and direct supervisory experience.
Strong understanding of billing software and e-billing platforms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
