Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate driver logs, fuel records, mileage reports, and delivery documentation. Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and loaded at its designated locationsFollow assigned delivery schedules and routes. Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.Report on vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or safety concerns immediately. Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicle. Adhere to all company safety procedures and DOT compliance requirements. Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries. Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A. Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening. Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred. Knowledge of DOT Regulations and safety standards. Ability to operate GPS systems, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and related equipment. Strong time management and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.WORKING CONDITIONS Local, regional, or long-haul travel depending on company needs. May require evening, weekend, holiday, or overnight work.
