Support Coordinator

The Support Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of project administrative and operational support functions across a project within company. This position is responsible for assisting project teams, coordinating resources, and providing high-quality customer and internal support. The Support Coordinator will act as a central point of communication to help drive efficiency, accuracy, and accountability within McKenney’s project operations.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide support to project managers, field teams, and department leadershipServe as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to ensure accurate communication, scheduling, and documentationPrepare, review, and distribute reports, schedules, and project-related documentsAssist in the coordination of meetings, appointments, and logistics for projectsTrack, monitor, and maintain project records, documentation, and compliance requirementsSupport billing and invoicing processes by collecting data, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely submissionIdentify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with teams to implement solutionsPromote and uphold McKenney’s safety absolutes, best practices, and company cultureParticipate in project planning and execution to maximize SQPCE performanceMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional mannerMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required2+ years of experience in commercial construction, customer service, or project support experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related fieldPrevious experience in construction, engineering, facilities management, or a related industryExperience with ERP or project management software (e.g., SAP, Procore, CMiC)Familiarity with document control processes and contract administrationKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesStrong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracyExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate needsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong working relationshipsCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional serviceAdaptability to changing priorities and willingness to learn new processesAbility to maintain composure under pressure and meet tight deadlinesWorking Conditions and Physical EffortsWork is primarily performed onsite in an construction office environmentWill require construction site walks, warehouses review, or other facilities, which will involve exposure to construction environmentsRequires the ability to sit for extended periods, with intermittent standing, walking, and lifting of up to 20 poundsMinimal travel may be required to support projects or company initiativesMoving Safety Forward, our initiative for continuous improvements in our safety culture, reminds us that we are on a journey toward a zero-incident culture.
