This role focuses on developing, evaluating, and executing plant projects and modifications that enhance safety, environmental compliance, mechanical integrity, and overall plant efficiency.\n\nThe position provides the opportunity to lead cross‑functional projects, interface with vendors and contractors, and directly influence the plant’s performance and long‑term operational excellence.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProject Development & Execution: Lead the design, evaluation, and implementation of capital projects and plant modifications. Manage project scope, budgeting, scheduling, and ensure successful execution.\n\nTechnical Leadership: Provide guidance and supervision to peers, contractors, and project teams. Act as a technical consultant for plant operations and maintenance, supporting problem-solving and repair activities.\n\nProcess Improvement: Propose new work procedures and efficiency improvements. Assist in the development of Key Process Indicators (KPIs) and other process monitoring tools.\n\nCross‑Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Safety, Environmental, Operations, Maintenance, Accounting, and Purchasing teams to ensure projects meet business needs and compliance requirements.\n\nVendor & Consultant Management: Interface with outside vendors, contractors, and industry groups. Evaluate technology, develop equipment specifications, and participate in bid selection.\n\nSafety & Compliance: Participate in equipment inspections, process safety reviews, process hazard analyses, and facility turnarounds, including 24‑hour shift coverage when needed.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Drive performance improvements in plant productivity, reliability, and operating excellence.
