You must be comfortable operating across infrastructure and software layers, designing systems, writing code, and supporting deployments in a cloud-native environment.\n\n*Key Responsibilities*\n\n* Develop and maintain scalable backend services using *C#* and *Python*\n* Design, deploy, and manage *containerized applications* using *Docker* and *Kubernetes*\n* Write and maintain *Bash scripts* for automation and system operations\n* Manage cloud infrastructure (primarily *AWS* and/or *Azure*) with a focus on performance, reliability, and security\n* Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system observability (monitoring, logging, alerting)\n* Participate in infrastructure and software design reviews, architecture discussions, and security planning\n* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced on-site environment\n\n*Required Qualifications*\n\n* Professional experience with both *C#* and *Python* in production settings\n* Strong hands-on experience with *Docker* and *Kubernetes*\n* Proficient in *Bash scripting* and *Linux system administration*\n* Practical knowledge of *cloud infrastructure* (AWS or Azure)\n* Experience with system and software design, including scalable and distributed architectures\n* Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, deployment automation, and release workflows\n\n*Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills*\n\n* Working knowledge of *C++* or *Go*\n* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm)\n* Experience with container security and cloud-native security practices\n* Exposure to service observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)\n\n*Candidate Profile*\n\n* 3–6 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering\n* Comfortable working *on-site*, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills\n* Proven ability to take ownership of systems and drive improvements\n* Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to balance development and operations priorities\n\n*ABOUT AD-HOC RESEARCH*\n\nAd-Hoc Research specializes in providing the full spectrum of Systems Engineering services to major DOD acquisition programs and Research & Development projects.
