This role offers hands-on experience producing enterprise reporting in a collaborative newsroom environment. By the end of the internship, you will produce a data-driven feature story for publication on our site.\r\nLocation Requirements: USA\r\nWork Style Requirements: Remote\r\nPosition Start Date: September 13, 2026\r\nPosition End Date : December 20, 2026\r\nApplication Deadline : July 31, 2026\r\nEligibility: Recent graduates who have completed an undergraduate or graduate program.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nResearch and develop at least one original, data-focused enterprise story for publication during the internship.\r\nAnalyze data to identify trends, patterns, insights, and support ongoing editorial projects.\r\nContribute to data gathering, cleaning, and interpretation from multiple sources, including public records.\r\nCollaborate with reporters and editors to integrate data into news and feature stories and shape story ideas.\r\nSupport the creation of data visualizations for stories and special projects.\r\nRequirements\r\nBe a recent graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree in data journalism, communications, or a related field of study.\r\nExperience working with and incorporating data into news or feature stories (academic, internship, or personal projects).\r\nDemonstrate the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data from diverse sources, including public records.\r\nExperience cleaning and organizing complex or messy datasets.\r\nPossess working knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and/or R.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including a strong narrative and visual storytelling ability.\r\nComfortable working independently and as part of a team\r\nStrong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with editors and reporters.\r\nAbout the Business\r\nLexisNexis Legal & Professional provides legal, regulatory, and business information and analytics that help customers increase their productivity, improve decision-making, achieve better outcomes, and advance the rule of law around the world.
