You contribute positively to team effectiveness and proactively collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software partners.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nOwn and execute a defined portion of system‑level and scale validation for machine learning server platforms\nDevelop and execute test procedures covering server components such as CPU, GPU, memory, BIOS, BMC, I/O, storage, and networking\nTranslate system requirements and specifications into practical system integration and scale test plans\nDrive day‑to‑day execution of assigned validation activities, ensuring quality, completeness, and schedule adherence\nDebug complex system‑level issues using analytical techniques and make targeted modifications to standard test approaches when required\nImplement important technical decisions within the owned test scope and escalate risks or interdependencies appropriately\nExecute and monitor automated test runs at scale; analyze results to identify failures, trends, and root causes\nContribute improvements to system‑level test methodologies, processes, and automation\nCommunicate execution status, risks, and dependencies to management and senior technical staff\nSupport lab activities related to owned work, including system setup, reconfiguration, and compliance tasks\n\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE\nExperience in post‑silicon system integration or system‑level testing\nProven ability to debug complex system and SoC‑level issues\nExperience validating scale‑up and/or scale‑out server configurations\nSolid understanding of computer architecture and hardware/software interactions\nHands‑on experience with server platforms and data‑center hardware\nExperience installing and managing operating systems; basic knowledge of virtualization and hypervisors\nProficiency in Python; working knowledge of Bash and/or PowerShell\nFamiliarity with machine learning systems deployed in data‑center environments\nAbility to collaborate effectively across multi‑functional hardware, firmware, and software teams\n\nACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:\nBachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent\n\nLocation:\nSecaucus, New Jersey (Onsite)\n\nThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship\n#LI-JE1\nQualifications:\nBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.\n\nAMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
