The Assistant Supervisor reports to the Project Manager acting as a Floor Manager while on the production floor. Experience with rehabilitation and working with individuals with disabilities is required. This position falls under Ability One Source America regulations and dictates that we support, accommodate, and assist individuals with documented physical and/or mental disabilities in maintaining competitive employment.\nPrimary Duties\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.\nCleaning, stocking, and floor care of the facilities.\nTrash collection from all waste and recycling receptacles in the aforementioned spaces\nMachine cleaning of floors up to and including but not limited to stripping and waxing.\nAdhere to facility safety guidelines related to procedure, PPE, and other company policies.\nAdhere to facility rules on both the campus and in the facilities themselves.\nAdditional Responsibilities – Supervisory Responsibilities\nAct as Floor Manager to ensure employees are on task.\nReporting directly to Contract Supervisor. Fulfil duties of Contract Supervisor in their absence.\nDirect supervision of 10-15 Employees with direct support for individuals with documented disabilities.\nMediation between employees, disciplinary action.\nCoverage of necessary facility tasks (roll up the sleeves when needed)\nSupervise weekend overtime work projects.\nInventory: weekly inventory counts and maintaining order and cleanliness of backstock closets.\nMonthly and weekly quality inspections and reporting.\nCustomer Service/relations regarding barrel rental, additional services for conferences, and General Assistance.\nStock management: replenishment of employee stock closet and delivering controlled supplies to employees on the floor.\nQualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent required\nBachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.\nMust have valid driver’s license and a good DMV record.\nSupervisor experience preferred.\nCustodial experience preferred but not required\n2-5 years’ experience working with individuals with documented disabilities preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nMust be proficient with computers and Microsoft Suite\nGrammar, spelling, written and verbal communication\nMust be able to communicate in verbal and written form proficiently\nMust have strong level of patience in working with our population.
