designing, building, operating, and continuously improving secure AWS-based application platforms.\nThe successful candidate will provide technical leadership across Kubernetes/EKS, GitLab CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, DevSecOps, networking, identity, security, and platform observability while developing automated, reusable, secure, and maintainable platform solutions.\nKey Responsibilities Architect, operate, and troubleshoot production Kubernetes environments, primarily Amazon EKS .\nDesign, develop, and maintain sophisticated GitLab CI/CD pipelines and reusable pipeline templates.\nImplement GitOps practices for Kubernetes applications and infrastructure.\nBuild and maintain secure AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .\nDevelop reusable Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, deployment patterns, and platform automation .\nSupport containerized applications using Docker .\nIntegrate security scanning, secrets management, IAM, and other DevSecOps controls into delivery pipelines.\nTroubleshoot complex issues spanning applications, containers, Kubernetes, AWS, networking, certificates, and identity.\nSupport authentication and authorization capabilities, including:\nIAM\nRBAC\nOAuth2/OIDC\nLDAP\nTLS/mTLS\nCertificate-based authentication\nImprove logging, monitoring, auditing, and overall platform observability .\nAutomate recurring operational tasks and convert manual processes into reusable platform solutions.\nDevelop standardized deployment, pipeline, and infrastructure templates.\nDocument technical solutions, operational procedures, and architecture decisions.\nMentor engineers across development, infrastructure, platform, and security teams.\nLead technical troubleshooting and resolution across multiple technology layers.\nRequired Qualifications Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance , with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.\nMinimum 10 years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or related technical disciplines.\nMinimum 8 years of AWS engineering experience .\nStrong hands-on production experience with Kubernetes , preferably Amazon EKS .\nDeep experience building and troubleshooting GitLab CI/CD pipelines .\nNetworking\nIAM\nCompute\nStorage\nLoad balancing\nMonitoring\nStrong Docker and containerization experience.\nExperience with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code .\nExperience creating reusable deployment, pipeline, and infrastructure templates.\nStrong Linux, networking, and command-line troubleshooting skills.\nSoftware development or scripting experience with Python, Go, Java, Ruby, Bash, or comparable languages .\nStrong understanding of:\nIAM and RBAC\nAuthentication and authorization\nTLS and certificates\nDNS\nHTTP\nRouting\nLoad balancing\nAbility to independently troubleshoot complex systems across multiple technology layers.\nStrong technical communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications & Certifications Security or DevSecOps certifications .\nExperience with:\nTerraform\nCloudFormation\nExperience with Keycloak, LDAP, OAuth2/OIDC, PKI, CAC/PIV, or client-certificate authentication .\nExperience with Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK/OpenSearch , or comparable observability platforms.\nExperience integrating security scanning and compliance controls into CI/CD environments.\nExperience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments .\nAdditional Requirements Must maintain the required Top
