In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and facility upkeep within a busy medical setting. Your efforts will ensure that the facility remains pristine, safe, and compliant with health regulations, supporting the well-being of everyone who enters. PLEASE NOTE: This position is in the evening roughly 7pm-11pm 4 hours per night Monday-Friday NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of patient rooms, exam areas, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies to ensure a clean environment at all times. Utilize custodial experience to operate cleaning machinery like floor buffers and extractors efficiently and safely. Maintain cleanliness standards by following established protocols for industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate personnel. Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within healthcare or commercial settings. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and safety protocols. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance needs. Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift. Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and facilities maintenance is a plus.
