The pharmacist plays a vital role in a collaborative, team-based environment to enhance patient care and overall customer service.Location:Area near Columbus, OH (exact location disclosed during candidate vetting)Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PMFlexibility with schedule is requiredKey Responsibilities:Compound, dispense, and monitor clinical therapies prescribed by authorized medical personnelEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal pharmacy regulationsSupervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain regulatory and operational standardsCollaborate with nursing, admissions, reimbursement, sales, and marketing teams to optimize patient outcomesParticipate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiativesOrient and train new staff and potentially serve as a preceptor for pharmacy internsSupport clinical activities related to sales, marketing, procurement, and inventory controlAssist in insurance authorization and documentation in collaboration with the reimbursement teamParticipate in pharmacy on-call rotation for uninterrupted customer supportMaintain accurate clinical records with adherence to USP 797 and USP 800 standards, along with State Board of Pharmacy regulationsQualifications / Desired Experience:Prior experience in an infusion pharmacy setting strongly preferredSpecialty pharmacy experience will also be consideredLicensed pharmacist with current credentialsStrong leadership skills and experience managing pharmacy teamsThis role offers the chance to impact patient care in an innovative pharmacy environment with opportunities for professional growth.
