Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Palo Alto Firewall Engineer with strong expertise in network security and firewall administration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks firewalls and related security technologies.Required Experience5–8 years of hands-on experience in network security and firewall managementOverall 10+ years of IT experience preferredMandatory SkillsPalo Alto Networks FirewallsIdentity and Access Management (IAM)Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, manage, and support Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)Implement and maintain security policies, NAT rules, VPNs, and routingManage Panorama for centralized firewall administrationMonitor firewall performance, logs, and security alertsPerform firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, and cleanup activitiesTroubleshoot network connectivity and security-related issuesSupport security audits, compliance initiatives, and technical documentationCoordinate with infrastructure, application, and security teams for firewall changes and deploymentsRequired SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls and PanoramaGood understanding of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, VPN, SSL, and IPSecExperience with App-ID, User-ID, Threat Prevention, and URL FilteringFamiliarity with change management and incident management processesStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsPalo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification preferredExperience with other firewall technologies such as Cisco ASA/FTD or Fortinet FortiGateKnowledge of cloud security concepts across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
