You will own features end-to-end — from design through production operation — across domains like claims adjudication, credentialing, and provider data. You'll work in a remote-first environment, collaborating with product, design, and engineering teammates across the US and our Bengaluru engineering hub, and you'll help drive our adoption of microservices and agentic-AI architectures.Design, implement, test, deploy, and operate services and features on our platform, from technical design docs through production monitoring.Technical Quality: Help ensure platform security and compliance with industry standards (e.g., AI-First Development: Build and integrate agentic-AI capabilities into production workflows, with appropriate guardrails for a regulated healthcare environment.Mentor earlier-career engineers through reviews and pairing.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.~5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.~ Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems and microservices in production.~ Strong proficiency in Python. Experience in Golang is a plus.~ Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration technologies (e.g., Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and building systems for compliance is a strong plus.~ Experience developing data crawlers or high-volume data ingestion pipelines is a plus.~ Strong written communication skills — comfortable working async in a remote, cross-time-zone team.~ LightSpun is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity.
