In this capacity, the PE will contribute to a variety of applied programs in the portfolio to include development and through fielded systems. Areas of focus include but are not limited to the development of novel communications systems, signal processing algorithms with machine learning and signal management, and sensor integration and testing. Programs include working with radio frequency and multi-functional systems\n\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nManage all phases of the program(s) from conceptualization through completion, including acquisition, planning, and managing technical performance to ensure quality, business, and financial objectives are attained.\nInfluence and drive the technical approach across a wide spectrum of Customers and industry partners.\nPerform system analysis, trades, generate requirements, develop system architectures and designs.\nContribute to white papers, concept studies, and proposals.\nInterface with customers, contractors, and engineering groups assigned to projects.\nSupport the development of test plans and manage the integration, verification and validation of sensors and systems.\nTroubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements, difficult coordination requirements, and special requirements.\nMaintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.\nDevelop program plans, estimates, and schedules and execute programs in accordance with those plans.\nRepresent company at technical reviews and system-level integration activities.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\nJob Qualifications\nTypically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; nine or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, seven or more years of experience with a masters degree, or four or more years with a PhD.
