Each BurgerFi store is built according to environmentally sustainable best practices, and includes earth-friendly elements, and a low carbon footprint.We are an independently owned and operated franchisee of BurgerFi International, LLC.Summary of Position: The Prep Person is responsible for preparing items to be used in the cooking of hamburgers, veggie burgers, hotdogs, french fries, onion rings, sauces, custard and related dishes and desserts. Also responsible for receiving inventory and verifying orders.Duties & Responsibilities:Mixes and prepares a variety of food items to include sauces, vegie burgers, spices, etc., using standard restaurant equipment ensuring quality and efficiently and customer satisfaction.Portions all meatAssumes responsibility for quality of products prepared and servedMaintains the cleanliness of the prep room and its stations to meet or exceed Health Department standards for cleanliness, food handling and sanitationMonitors stocks of ingredients and food items and assists with the preparation of inventory supply ordersReceives delivered food stocks and supplies, verifying receipt of ordered itemsEnsures the neatness, cleanliness and orderliness of his/her stationStores and rotates all products properlyProperly maintains and uses all equipment per manufacturer's and company specificationsRestaurant experience in Back of the House position is preferredWillingness to be a team player and hard workerAble to communicate clearly with customers and other employeesAble to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 poundsBe able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)Must see clearly (with or without glasses) to read, interpret and understand recipes, menus, food orders, packing slips, etc.Able to sense degrees of temperature
