Prior military experience is welcome.Job Responsibilities IncludeEmbracing our start-up culture and vision to grow, learn, and build an authentic close-knit communityTake ownership of an Agile-backed software development lifecycle in order to meet customer-defined technical requirementsResearch, develop, and implement models and algorithms for data analysis and curationDirect aspects of technical solutions reliant on data science/machine learning through implementation, testing, and deliveryWork as part of a larger family of technical contributors and collaborate across team members, mission partners, and end customersProvide thought leadership within this domain for solution ideation and technical whiteboardingTechnical RequirementsProficiency in data mining techniques and statistical analysisProficiency in feature engineering and model development/implementationProficiency in software/scripting languages, such as Java, Python, Scala, etc.Proficiency in ML frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.Experience in Linux environments (CentOS, Ubuntu)Experience in analysis over large data sets, both structured and unstructuredFamiliarity with technical ICDs and general data transformationPreferred Knowledge And/or SkillsOpen datasets and synthetic data generationProcessing frameworks, such as Spark, Hadoop, etc.Deploying and using models in a production environmentScalable processing techniques and performance considerations (e.g. HPC, CUDA)Azure/AWS configuration and deployment of servicesPresenting information using data visualization techniquesTechnical writing and documentationExcellent written and verbal communication skills to interface effectively across project/customer echelonsRequired ExperienceBachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as software engineering, applied mathematics, computer science, or other relevant data-driven area, or demonstrably equivalent work experienceUS CitizenshipEligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearancePreferred ExperienceDoD Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI accessPrior experience or interaction with the US DoD or other government agencyNew employees will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
