Accounts Payable AnalystSMX has an exciting opportunity for a talented Accounts Payable Analyst in a high growth environment. This position is 100% remote. The Accounts Payable Analyst will be reporting directly to Accounts Payable Supervisor and will be responsible for the accurate processing of invoices utilizing Deltek Costpoint.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform accounts payable focused activities to include 3-way matching, coding, review, routing, and scanning, obtain approvals, as well as data entry into CostpointEnsure invoice transactions follow governmental, regulatory, and legislative requirements and company policiesCollaborate with functional analysts and related contract personnel to ensure proper accounts and project designationResearch and resolve vendor inquiries to include but not limited to, invoice amount and/or quantity discrepancies, payment terms, and invoice statusMaintain accurate, complete, and organized digital AP files and emailsProvide management with ad hoc reports as requestedSupport year-end internal and external auditsAssists with other projects as assigned by the AP managementRequired Skills/ExperienceClearance Required: None. US citizenship required for work on DoD contracts.3+ years of Accounts Payable experienceStrong intermediate Microsoft Excel skillsMust be detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlinesSelf-starter with the ability to work independentlyStrong organizational and analytical skillsStrong and effective communication, both written and verbalStrong interpersonal skills and a great team playerDesired Skills/ExperienceDeltek Costpoint experience preferredExperience working with government contracts highly desiredSolid knowledge of the JTAR and GSAApplication Deadline: May 31, 2026The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
