At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.\nWe have immediate openings for our Dockworker/Forklift Operator 3rd Shift position,\nFull Time – Mon thru Fri\n$20.00 Per hour including a $1,000 sign on bonus\nWhat you will do on a typical shift:\nEfficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight\nUse appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand\nSecure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies\nWork in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies\nWork on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods of time and may be slippery\nLift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 70 lbs. occasionally\nBe able to do math with and without a calculator\nWhat you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP:\nStrong work ethic, with the ability to work in a high paced team-oriented environment with great communication skills\nTo be at least 18 years of age\nIt would be great if you also have:\nDock/warehouse experience in the transportation industry\nForklift experience in a freight/less-than-truckload environment\nExperience loading and unloading trailers\nDesire to succeed with a strong attention to detail\nBenefits for FT Employees Include:\nGenerous Vacation Policy\nPersonal Days -3 per year\nHolidays – 9 per year including your birthday\nMedical Plan – 75% funded by company\nDental\nVision\nLife insurance company paid\nShort Term Disability company paid\nFSA/DCA (flexible spending account/dependent care reimbursement account)\n401(k) Plan with company match\nWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
