This involves identifying and managing risks at the portfolio level, resolving conflicts, and documenting project successes. This individual should have operational background and be able to be able to see the big picture of how everything fits together, be able to work independently, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, such as senior management, project teams, and clients. The Controls Engineering Program Manager will also play a key role in establishing and maintaining governance structures and processes, implementing project management methodologies, and monitoring project progress.\n\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nManaging a portfolio of projects and backlog.\nIdentify and manage portfolio level risks, including recognizing potential dependencies and conflicts between projects and mitigating such issues.\nDocumenting the successes and achievements of each project as they happen.\nCommunicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and clients. Managing expectations and ensuring stakeholder alignment across the portfolio of projects.\nHelping establish and maintain appropriate governance structures and processes for the portfolio. This can include defining and implementing project management methodologies, standards, and best practices across projects.\nMonitoring the progress and performance of the projects, ensuring they are on track to meet their objectives. This requires regular review and reporting on project status, risks, and issues.\nProviding guidance and support to the team.\nServing as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.\nRequired knowledge, skills, and abilities:\n5+ years of program management experience overseeing a portfolio of individual projects.\nBackground in operations and controls engineering or a related field.\nExperience across standard project management practices and methodologies.\nAbility to identify, assess, and manage project risks to mitigate potential impacts.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nStrong problem-solving skills to quickly and effectively resolve project-related issues.\nExceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nIndividual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.\nUS: $145,000 - $165,000 (USD) + bonus programs + benefits.\n\nBenefits and bonus information can be found at https://www.redcloudconsulting.com/careers\n\nRedCloud requires employees have the legal ability to work in the country hired during their employment period.
