Industrial Maintenance Technician

We utilize a wide range of metal forming techniques and special manufacturing processes, servicing the commercial, military, regional jet, helicopter, and general aviation markets.Position SummaryMaintenance technicians are responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. They will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around the facility. Other tasks may include: performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, windows, door, or wall repairs; repairing broken or leaking plumbing, and restore full use of water fixtures; working on damaged electrical wiring when a short or severed wire occurs; maintain the buildings HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly; apply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof; fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries; painting the building when old paint has been peeled or chipped; and other tasks as assigned.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain hydraulics and pneumatic systemsKnowledge of welding, fabricating, PLC, plumping, electrical troubleshooting, and general industrial maintenanceKnowledgeable in hydraulic pumps but will familiarize you on our equipment.Safe work practice knowledgeKnowledge of OSHA regulationsSome basic computer and tablet knowledgeReport to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.Good regular attendance is an essential function of this position.Other various duties as needed or as assigned.Position RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredMechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skillsIndustrial maintenance experienceWelding and fabrication experience preferredAbility to lift 50 lbsValid Driver's License requiredElectrical License/Training preferredEmployee Benefits: Our employees are our most valuable asset.
