Quality Control Laboratory Technician

Quality Technician (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Kings Mountain, NC Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: $23–$24/hour Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Overtime: Occasional Saturdays as requiredPosition SummaryWe are seeking a Quality Technician to support laboratory testing and quality control operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing analytical testing on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. The technician will work closely with production and technical teams to support product consistency and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine testing of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished goodsDocument and report all quality control data accurately and in accordance with proceduresSupport troubleshooting and resolution of quality issues and nonconformancesFollow established quality management system procedures and safety requirementsCollaborate with production and technical teams to ensure product quality standards are metMaintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environmentQualificationsEducation & Experience:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferredRelevant laboratory or chemical manufacturing experience considered in lieu of degreeExperience in inks, coatings, or similar manufacturing environments is a plusSkills:Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to document and communicate results clearlyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)SAP experience preferredAbility to distinguish color nuances (role-dependent)Physical RequirementsFrequent standing and walking in a laboratory settingOccasional bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 lbsExposure to chemicals, odors, and varying temperatures
