This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques and contribute to our ongoing research and diagnostic efforts.\n\n*Duties*\n* Perform a variety of molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR and iPCR\n* Prepare and analyze laboratory samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).\n* Perform assays and analyze results to support ongoing studies.\n* Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.\n* Document and maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and protocols in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.\n* Collaborate with clinical laboratory personnel to ensure accurate testing and reporting of results.\n* Maintain laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for tracking samples and data management.\n* Assist with the development, validation, and optimization of molecular assays.\n* Participate in routine quality control and assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.\n* Collaborate with senior laboratory staff to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.\n\n*Skills*\n* Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.\n* Background in clinical laboratory practices is advantageous.\n* Ability to perform various assays with precision and attention to detail.\n* Experience in molecular biology techniques, including DNA extraction and PCR technologies\n* Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is desirable.\n* Familiarity with laboratory equipment (e.g., PCR machines, gel electrophoresis, spectrophotometers) is a plus.\n\n*Qualifications*\n* Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.\n* Basic laboratory experience, preferably with molecular biology techniques (internships or coursework projects are acceptable).\n* Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety protocols.\n\nThis position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to embark on their careers in a fast-paced scientific environment while contributing to meaningful healthcare initiatives.\n\nLabTest.bio is an equal opportunity employer.
