The role will report directly to the CS Brevard Sr. Engineering Manager for the SI&T department. The Engineering Manager for SI&T will be responsible for managing a team of approximately twenty engineers, ensuring the successful application of integration and testing policies, and support the hiring and staffing needs set by the Sr. Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test and integration in the defense industry, with a strong background in managing diverse teams. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a team of multidisciplinary engineers, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and provide technical guidance and support to various programs.\n\nEssential Functions:\nReports to Sr. Eng. Manager for the department, leads a team of approximately 20 members, and is responsible for their performance management, training gaps, and professional development\nResponsible for executing workforce and staffing plans set by the Sr. Engineering Manager for the department to ensure availability of human capital necessary to accomplish departmental business results\nHas hiring and compensation authority within own department, in accordance with management review and approval\nManage staffing performance issues including PIPs under review of Sr. Eng. Mgr. and HR\nNew Employee Onboarding including IT requests, check-ins, and logistics for new hires\nMust have RF and Satcom knowledge\nExperience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters\nExperience with writing/developing test documentation (test plans, test procedures, test reports, test readiness reviews, etc.)\nTest Execution and experience performing tests while being monitored by customers (acceptance test procedures, functional tests, formal qualification tests, etc.)\nExperience with environmental testing and MIL-STD-810 (seismic, vibration, etc.)\nEffective communication skills in a collaborative team environment\nExcellent organizational skills\nProficient in Microsoft Office® applications to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
