This is a fully onsite position, and relocation is not available.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n* Design and develop logical data models and data architectures for assigned applications.\n* Design relational databases that meet application and business requirements.\n* Serve as the lead database designer for assigned application systems.\n* Develop, implement, and maintain database design standards.\n* Write and maintain stored procedures, database scripts, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.\n* Establish standards for database access, object-relational mapping, and application-level error handling.\n* Analyze data volumes and usage patterns to improve database performance and efficiency.\n* Collaborate with application developers to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in development and production environments.\n* Work with database administration teams to identify and resolve performance issues.\n* Prepare and maintain system documentation, programming specifications, and technical documentation.\n* Configure system settings and develop specifications based on business requirements.\n* Plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing.\n* Support application deployments and migrations across Development, QA, and Production environments.\n* Follow secure web development practices, coding standards, test coverage requirements, automation, and continuous integration processes.\n* Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to ensure application architecture, reliability, performance, and content delivery meet established standards.\n* Troubleshoot backup and recovery issues and recommend appropriate technical solutions.\n* Support equipment and software upgrades while adhering to information security guidelines.\n* Manage multiple priorities, provide timely status updates, and respond effectively to support requests.\n* Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation.\n\nRequired Skills and Experience\n\n* *10+ years* of experience in database modeling, architecture, and development.\n* *9+ years* of experience working with state government organizations.\n* *10+ years* of advanced SQL experience.\n* *5+ years* of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5.\n* *4+ years* of Java development, design, and coding experience.\n* *5+ years* of experience working with Agile methodologies.\n* Strong understanding of relational database design, stored procedures, and database optimization.\n* Experience supporting application development, testing, deployment, and production troubleshooting.\n* Knowledge of secure application development and information security best practices.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n* Experience working with cloud-based solutions.\n* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or another certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI).\n\nEducation Requirements\n\n* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.\n\nDesired Candidate Profile\n\n* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\n* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.\n* Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.\n* Ability to work effectively with business users, management, vendors, and technical teams.\n* Strong understanding of business processes and application requirements.\n* Ability to take initiative, work independently, and identify process improvements.\n* Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.\n* Ability to manage competing priorities and resolve issues within established service levels.\n\nWork Location and Interview Process\n\n* *Work Arrangement:* Fully onsite in Columbia, South Carolina.\n* *Residency Requirement:* Must be a current South Carolina resident.\n* *Relocation:* Not available.\n* *Interview Process:* One round of onsite interviews.\n* *On-Call Requirement:* Shared 24/7 on-call responsibilities.\n\nBackground and Pre-Employment Requirements\n\nCandidates selected for this position must successfully complete the applicable screening process, including:\n\n* Nationwide criminal background check covering federal, state, and county records for the previous seven years.\n* Credit history check.\n* Employment eligibility verification through E-Verify.\n* South Carolina tax history verification;
