This role is primarily focused on cable harness assembly, including cutting, stripping, crimping, wiring, and assembling electrical components. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on cable harness assembly experience and be comfortable reading and following electrical schematics, wire lists, diagrams, and assembly instructions. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and assemble cable harnesses, flexible cable assemblies, bulk cables, and other electrical/electromechanical assembliesCut, strip, crimp, mark, and route wires and cablesRead and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, production instructions, parts lists, and wire listsAssemble, wire, and install a variety of electrical and electronic componentsUse hand tools including wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and soldering equipmentPerform hand soldering and de-soldering of through-hole and SMT componentsOperate basic electronic test equipment and semi-automated assembly equipment as neededFollow ESD handling procedures when working with electronic componentsMaintain high standards for quality, accuracy, productivity, and safetyFollow established manufacturing procedures and quality standards QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years of hands-on cable harness assembly experience strongly preferredExperience reading and following electrical schematics and wiring diagramsExperience with wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and routingFamiliarity with soldering and de-soldering is a plusComfortable using small hand tools and basic electronic test equipmentBasic computer skills and familiarity with Windows-based systems, ERP/MRP systems, and Microsoft OfficeAbility to perform basic shop mathStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Physical & Work EnvironmentManufacturing environmentAbility to sit, stand, walk, reach, and use hands for detailed assembly workAbility to occasionally lift or move up to 30 lbsWork may involve exposure to machine shop tools, compressed gases, mechanical equipment, cleaning solvents, and occasional elevated noise levelsAbility to meet applicable safety and PPE requirements This is a great opportunity for an experienced cable harness assembler looking for a long-term position with a potential path to permanent employment. Connexion’s mission is to provide \"best in class\" services to job seekers.
